Social Seat
Crisis scenario
People who live in public spaces are often ignored and rejected by society. They are not listened to and do not always receive the help they need.
Project
Social Seat is a one-person public bench that makes society reflect on the life of homeless. The product is not only a new design of a seat, but it offers space for life stories of homeless people, in the form of magazines and they can also make some donations. Those who want to help can donate either some clothes or returnable bottles that they do not need to the homeless on the back of the seat. While a passer-by reads a story from the magazine, they sit comfortably on the bench.
These stories are intended to show understanding for the homeless. In this way the ignorant point of view in society is changed and help can probably be given.
